Coldfusion MX and above

Coldfusion MX and above allow semi-automatic installation of CFX tags through the setup executable. Follow these steps to install or upgrade CFX_ImageCR for Coldfusion version MX and above.

1. Run the CFX_ImageCR setup executable

2. Register cfx_imagecr3.dll in the Coldfusion Administrator as a C++ tag
  • Enter any tag name you like, but cfx_imagecr3 is our standard.
  • Point to cfx_imagecr3.dll, which is located in C:\Program Files\Efflare\cfx ImageCR 3\ by default.
    • You selected the location of cfx_imagecr3.dll in step 1.
    • The CFX tag DLL will be named cfx_imagecr3_demo.dll, if you are installing a trial.
  • Check the "Keep Library Loaded" checkbox.
